Swagbucks is free to join. To qualify for the $10 Swagbucks bonus, complete the following steps:

• Join Swagbucks (you can use my Swagbucks referral link)

• ‘Activate’ your bonus in the Swag Ups section of your account

• Spend at least $25 at a store featured in Swagbucks.com/Shop

• You must receive a minimum of 25 SB points for this purchase

• Complete qualifying activities within 30 days of registration

• Instantly earn 1000 SB points upon completion

Your $10 Shop Bonus will be automatically applied to your account upon joining Swagbucks. The $10 bonus must be redeemed before the expiration date shown in your account.

How to Redeem Swagbucks Shopping Bonus

If you’re new to Swagbucks like I was back in 2022, then you may not know how to earn 25 SB points through Swagbucks shopping. That’s alright.

The way it works is you’ll earn a one-time $10 bonus when you shop any of your favorite featured retailers through the Swagbucks site. Your first purchase must be at least $25.

To complete this requirement, sign into your account and go to the ‘shop’ tab.

You can also scroll from your Swagbucks homepage to the featured shopping section mid-way down the page. You’ll see a note highlighting your $10 Shop bonus.

Next, click over to the retailer you wish to shop.

Some popular retailers you can shop to earn SB points include:

Each retailer will show the stated SB points you’ll earn per dollar spent on qualifying purchases.

For example, in the image above you would earn 2 SB points per $1 spent at Best Buy. This equates to 2% cash back rewards.

Even though a $13 dollar purchase at Best Buy would earn you 26 SB points (2 SB points x 13), it would not meet the second criteria of a $25 purchase minimum. This is a one-time requirement necessary to earn the $10 bonus.

The cash back points change from time to time and vary from retailer to retailer. So just make sure you read the ‘special terms’ to know how much you’ll earn and what qualifies towards earning SB points.

For instance, when shopping Walmart through the Swagbucks app or website, the ‘special terms’ states:

‘Cash Back is not available on Apple Products, Beats products, Household Essentials, Personal Care Products, Diapers, Formula, Baby Food, Gift cards, Groceries/Food, Orders deemed to be for reselling purposes, Pharmacy, Precious Metals, Tires, Video Game Consoles, or Walmart+ Memberships.’

How Long Does It Take Swagbucks to Pay $10 Bonus?

You’ll receive your $10 Shopping Bonus (1000 SB points) deposited into your account once your SB pending cash back points post to your account. SB points can be redeemed for gift cards or PayPal cash.

Remember, you’ll need to spend at least $25 on your first Swagbucks shopping purchase within 30 days, in order to qualify for the new member $10 sign up bonus.

Rakuten is another site that rewards you cash back rewards when shopping through the app or browser extension. New members earn a $30 Rakuten sign up bonus.

How Much Can You Earn on Swagbucks Per Day?

Daily earnings on Swagbucks can vary significantly based on the activities completed, but typically you can expect to earn a few dollars per day.

I’ve earned on average $2.76 per day (equivalent to 276 SB) on Swagbucks since joining in March 2022. But if you pair Swagbucks with other survey sites, you could earn up to $100 a day.

Swagbucks Referral Program

Other Swagbucks promotions you can take part in include the Swagbucks referral program. Once you sign up for Swagbucks, you’ll get a link that can be shared with your friends and family to earn referral bonus rewards.

You can earn a 300 SB bonus if your referral registers and accumulates 300 SB within 30 days of their sign-up. For instance, if a referral joins on August 25th, they must earn 300 SB by September 25th for you to receive the bonus.

Note that this bonus is not available in all countries. The 300 SB bonus will be credited to your account the day after your referral meets the required conditions.
