About the WordenSystem™

The exclusive patented WordenSystem™ has made TIFFANY STYLE LAMP CRAFTING AVAILABLE TO ALL. Our economical styrofoam plastic forms are feather light and suprisingly durable. Thousands of kits have been sold and used worldwide since they were first introduced in 1974. Many of the lamps you see on TV shows and commercials were made from our kits.

The patented WordenSystem™ uses removable MagicStrips™ allowing the construction of several Worden Lamp Designs on ONE FORM. MagicStrips™ create the cartoon (glass placement guide on the surface of the form). MagicStrips™ are heavy paper pattern templates, with the lamp design printed on them, which are cut out and placed between the raised molded lines on the form. Each packet requires the correct reusable Worden Form (sold separately).

Features include: REUSABLE LAMP FORMS and matching PATTERN PACKETS which are purchased separately. Select from OVER 220 outstanding antique style stained glass lamp designs that are built on 13 different SectionalForms™ and 7 different 360 degree FullForm™ shapes. Only ONE INEXPENSIVE BLANK FORM is needed to make a lamp. Worden lamp forms are molded of approximately 1" thick styrofoam. Glass parts are positioned on the curved surface of the form and held securely with pins. Soldering on the styrofoam form can be done because the glass parts are flat and fit together above the rounded form. The heavy paper MagicStrips™ protect the form from head and small solder flow through. After the parts have been foiled, they are first tack soldered together. The solder tacks are then flattened out to tin the foil and make a rough flat seam. The lamp is then removed from the form and the soldering completed. Each pattern packet includes instructions and we offer a TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE 800 HOT LINE NUMBER to help you if the need arises.
