Among the more popular Tiffany style lamps sold by the H. L.
Worden Co. is the world-renowned dragonfly design. The C16-18,
19, 20, and 21 are composite reproductions of original lamp shades
as pictured in Dr. Neustadt's book; "The Lamps of Tiffany",
pages 92 to 94; also, "The Lamps of Tiffany Studios"
by William Feldstein, Jr. and Alastair Duncan pages 94 and 98.
Since the shade was described by the Tiffany studios as "Dragonfly
and Water Design," the craftsman is free to create any sort
of stream or pond he prefers along with every kind of atmosphere
in which the insect flies. The mood may range from sunny peace
to sad foreboding.' The H. L. Worden Co. is introducing this design
with four of the many color combinations used by Tiffany Studios.
Each pattern kit comes with background and eye jewel sets and
the wing filigree to make the lamp shown. Select from the four
suggested color combinations or let your imagination soar, as
Tiffany did.
Each kit includes dragonfly wing filigree, background jewels and
eye jewels for the lamp as shown. The C16 form is sold separately.
The 16" diameter makes these lamps excellent table or bedside

A composite reproduction of original Turtle Back Belt shades
as pictured on page 62 "The Lamps of Tiffany" by Dr.
Egon Neustadt. This 16" globe shaped lamp is ideal as a table
lamp in living room or bedroom whether displayed on a lamp base
or as a hanging lamp. Mottle green glass suggests clouds casting
their shadows over a country meadow which gives a quiet elegance
to this simple geometric shade.
Typically rough in texture, the turtle backs are an exquisite
focal point, many are iridized. Traditionally green, today's turtle
back comes in many colors red, blue and amber. The GF16-27
Pattern Kit comes with 22 blue iridized turtleback tiles; the
GF16-28 Pattern Kit comes with 22 green iridized turtleback tiles.
