If you are making a FullForm™ shade that turns in at the
bottom it is betst to remove the shade in two parts. We suggest
separating C16 shades as illustrated. [Fig. R] Mark and carefully
remove the upper and lower parts of the lamp shade from the form.
Attach the rigid glass ring to the bottom of the shade.
CF18 designs have suggested separations indicated on the MagicStrips™ and may be removed in two parts, either horizontal or vertical. [Fig. S] Mark and carefully remove the sections of thee lamp shade from the form. Attach the rigid sections together immediately upon removing from the form.
As the glass sections are completed remove them from the form and tin all the exposed copper foil. Do not fill seams at this time. Inside and outside. Do not fill seams at this time. Clean thouroughly with a damp cloth so they will not corrode. Store each by cradiling in styrofoam peanuts or similar material.

Start with two glass sections, they should be squeaky clean. Stand them on a flat surface and temporarily [Fig 10 and 11] hold them together tape (masking type tape). Rotate adding units until all are held in place with tape placed at the top and at the bottom. Each glass section can be bent slightly to form a perfectly round lamp. Tack solder at touch points and at grid and background intersections.

Follow this step only if your lamp has bridging glass pieces. [Fig. X] Before cutting out the bridging pieces, test for fit. Some pattern adjustment may be necessary. Do one piece at a time to insure that they fit snugly. Foil wrap, solder and make a flat seam. Clean by rubbing with a wet cloth or sponge.
