The WordenSystem™ lamp forms are molded of styrene plastic
beads that are expanded and fused together. The forms are light,
tough, very stable and can be used for years.
The forms' pin cushion feature provides a simple
method to hold the Glass parts in place on the form.
The forms are not heat proof: to solder on the forms SOLDER
TACKS are used to hold the foil wrapped glass parts together,
the small mounds of solder (tacks) can be removed if adjustments
are necessary.
When a lamp or lamp section is completed on the form the solder
tacks are melted and spread out to tin the copper foil and hold
the parts together so they can be separated from the form.
Then the lamp sections are soldered together and completed also
lamps made on FullForms™ are finished. The inside seams are
filled and finished first, then the outside seams are built up
and the lamp completed.
