Hand Pressed Jewels

The original Tiffany Dragonfly lamps were made in many sizes and color combinations. The smooth oval or round glass jewels were used to depict natural water colors under different lighting conditions. In nature dragonflies are multicolored. Small jewels are used for eyes and water droplets.

In many of the antique lamps smooth round glass jewels were used to represent clusters of grapes, flower centers, and highlights.
